Delete Your Uniauto Account

If you'd like to delete your Uniauto account and associated personal data, follow the steps below.

How to request deletion
Send a deletion request using either method:
- Email: support@uniauto.in — subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- WhatsApp: +91 93192 21210

Please include the phone number registered on your Uniauto account so we can locate it. We will confirm your request and complete it within [2] business days

What gets deleted
Once your request is processed, we delete or anonymise:
- Your name, email address, and saved delivery addresses
- Your saved vehicles ("Garage")
- Your device push-notification token
- Your account login/authentication record

What we retain, and why
Indian tax and accounting law requires businesses to retain transaction records for a minimum period after the transaction date. Because of this, we retain the following even after an account deletion request:
- Order and payment records (order history, amounts, payment status) — retained for 10 years, in line with applicable Indian tax/accounting record-keeping requirements
- Information we're required to keep to detect or prevent fraud, or to comply with a legal obligation, dispute, or law-enforcement request

This retained data is kept solely for legal/compliance purposes and is not used for marketing or any other purpose after your account is deleted.

Partial deletion
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data:
- Profile details / saved addresses — editable any time from your account profile in the app
- Saved vehicles (Garage) — removable individually at any time from the Garage tab
- Notification preferences — you can opt out of any notification category at any time in the app
